2008 Florida Film Festival

To date, The Florida Film Festival is probably the biggest failure of Living Orlando. Back in December, when I first received the opening press release, I had big plans for articles on the festival. However, the holiday season turned into an extended break from writing and I’ve basically never caught up.

So now, with the festival less than a week away, the best I can do is point you to the official site. There, you’ll read all about the scheduled events (which are now mostly sold out). You’ll also read about the special guests, which includes Anthony Bourdain, Jennifer Tilly and Mary Stuart Masterson. Most of all, you’ll have the chance to read about the fantastic set of films that are scheduled to premiere at the festival.

If you’re attending the festival, drop us a line and let us know what you think. We’ll be there in part, too, so if nothing else, we’ll do our best to cover what we see and do.

Was he added to the schedule recently? I can’t believe I would have missed him on the “Guests” page of the FFF site. Just shows you how far behind I am on this one.

I missed the boat on Wrestlemania XXIV, too. Doh!

What are you talking about?! You still have time to walk to Wrestlemania XXIV!

As far as Malcolm McDowell is concerned…

Macolm McDowell at the film festival?! Really sorry I missed him. When I studied abroad in London, waaay back in the 90’s, I actually lived a couple of houses down from him. Never had the courage to say anything to him. I think seeing, “Clockwork Orange,” kind of does that to a person.
