Here’s something you don’t see everyday. An indoor golf course will be built temporarily at Pointe Orlando where lunch-time golfers will have the chance to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Full details are below …

The Glenlivet City Links opens in Pointe Orlando
WHAT
In a marriage of Scotland’s two best loved exports, Scotch Whisky and golf, The Glenlivet brings a traditional Scottish links to the shopping and entertainment venue of Pointe Orlando. The urban-scaled course features nine holes sloped with water hazards, bridges, sand traps, and a virtual driving range and chipping area for golfers to practice their games. In addition to practicing their swing, golfers will have the chance to win two extraordinary trips to the courses in Pinehurst, North Carolina and St. Andrews, Scotland.
The Glenlivet City Links will host the public for ten days in Orlando before continuing on to other cities across the United States.

Aiming to offer a new way to golf from the oldest tradition in golfing, The Glenlivet City Links will be open to anyone who enjoys a round of golf in their spare time. Players must be 21 years of age or older.

There are no set green fees to play on The Glenlivet City Links; instead a ‘pay-as-you-will’ policy has been implemented to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Yep, only during lunch hours … during the week … and they’re going to be serving scotch. Sounds like you’ll need to be off-work one of those days.
