Orlando Magic still in front, but slipping fast

The Magic have yet to turn things around after their first losing week, falling in three of their four games since last Wednesday. They continue to give up big leads early and have simply not been able to recover like they were a few weeks back. It’s not time to panic, since the team is still leading the Southeast division, but it would be great to see the Magic get back to their winning ways.

This past week included losses to Milwaukee, Memphis and Dallas, and just one win against Charlotte. Of the four, only the Memphis game was here in Orlando, where the Magic are now 5-5 on the season. If they don’t find a way to get comfortable on their home court, it will be difficult to gain any momentum through the rest of the schedule.

Don’t forget to vote for Magic players to make the All-Star team. The last I checked, Dwight Howard was the leading vote-getter at the center position (ahead of Shaquille O’neal).

Week-by-week record:

  • Week 1: 3-1
  • Week 2: 3-1
  • Week 3: 4-0
  • Week 4: 3-1
  • Week 5: 3-1
  • Week 6: 0-2
  • Week 7: 1-3
