While tickets to the exciting match-up of the University of Florida and the University of Michigan in the Capital One Bowl here in Central Florida are completely sold out, those of us who are aching to see a little pigskin action can still get tickets to the Champs Sports Bowl.
Boston College (10-3) will take on this writer’s alma mater Michigan State University (7-5) in Orlando on December 28 at 5pm. Of course, I already purchased my tickets to the “big” event and, as far as bowl game prices go, it was really quite a steal. I secured tickets in the “family section” where, for $49 per ticket, I’ll not only get a seat at the game but also a $10 voucher good for food and/or merchandise, a free parking pass, a goody bag with games for the tots (if I had any), and admission into the “FunZone” that has live bands, games, face painting and more. If you have children it seems like the perfect way to enjoy the game as a family. And for those of us without kids, it’s still a really great deal to enjoy the game in person instead of on ESPN.
Tickets in other sections of the stadium are also still on sale and retail for $60. Just go to Ticketmaster.com to make your purchase.
See you there (just be sure you’re wearing green and white)!

And if football isn’t your thing, UConn vs UCF basketball is going down over in East Orlando at the same time!
