If you’re looking for early-week entertainment, you might want to give Taverna Opa a try on Tuesday nights.
For starters, they offer belly dancing lessons every Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. The cost is $20, but that includes a post-lesson dinner in the restaurant. After doing a little research on wikipedia, it appears that men can also be belly dancers, so this might be a fun date option for anyone who loves to dance or for those people that like to have a good laugh at their own expense.
The other option on Tuesday nights is to enjoy their “It’s All Greek To Me” prix-fixe menu. For $30 per person, the meal includes an appetizer, entrée, dessert and glass of wine. I couldn’t find any information on what options are available with this menu, but as soon as I do, I will update this post.

Sounds like a great time, although I typically try to avoid areas on International Drive. It’s odd, though — I was just talking about this very restaurant with someone yesterday! Guess I’ll have to check-it-out.
