B.B. King Blues Club bringing soul to Orlando

Classic blues, blues rock, classic rock, smooth jazz, Memphis soul, funk and R&B. “Memphis-style” ribs, Carolina bar-b-que glazed salmon, fried dill pickles, white cheddar mac & cheese and fried tobacco onions. Bourbon pecan pie, strawberry shortcake and banana bread pudding with Southern Comfort sauce.

What do these three lists represent? They are the offerings of the soon-to-be-opened B.B. King’s Blues Club Orlando, which kicks things off December 3rd with a concert featuring the man himself, B.B. King.

B.B. KingLocated in Pointe Orlando off International Drive, B.B. King’s Blues Club Orlando will serve lunch and dinner along with live music from its 11-piece house band. Up to 1000 people will be able to enjoy the easy-going atmosphere, including space in an outdoor patio, a mezzanine overlooking the main stage, a main dining room, two semi-private dining areas and four full-service bars. It’s the fourth such location in the country, joining Memphis, Nashville and Los Angeles.

In addition to the opening night show, B.B. King will perform on the 4th, 6th and 7th with ticket prices ranging from $75 to $150 per person. Each ticket includes a full three-course meal and can be purchased by calling 407-370-4550 or by e-mail at info@bbkingclubs.com.

    Thanks for the info. I can’t wait! I’m originally from Nashville and I hear they have the best ribs…outside of Tennessee. And fried dill pickles…oh my. I will be there!

    My dad is a hudge B.B. King fan.B.B.Kings music played in our house from the time I was a little girl.I have taken my dad to a few of B.B.Kings concerts.This one sounds like this one is going to be the greatest.We went all out for my dad on this one!

    I have seen many people perform but I think BB out did them all! My Grandmother and father were both huge fans, remember hearing how great he was from the time I was a little girl, listened to him play even on records and took it all for granted till last night. To see him at 82 still being the best at what he does was a great treat.I was in awe! Also looking for photos, mine did not turn out. Please send to AndibirdG@aol.com..thanks!

    Checked out B B’s club in Orlando on April 9th–all i can say is AWESOME!!! Not only the music but you have got to check out the BBQ sauce–i ain’t never had nothin’ like it!!!!!! The service was second to none. I’ll be back.
