In wrapping up the Book of the Month for November, “101 Things You Never Knew About Walt Disney World”, by Kevin Yee, we’ll take a look at who should buy the book (although it’s pretty clear from the title and our review). Remember, one commenter from the month will be selected to receive a free copy of the book. The official selection / cutoff date for that is November 27th.
Who should buy this book?
Disney fans, especially those fans that love Walt Disney World, will enjoy this book. It’s not the first book I’d buy, but it’s definitely one to seek out after you’ve been to the parks a couple of times, since some background knowledge is necessary. As mentioned in our review, this would be the perfect book to bring with you to the parks, in order to pass time while waiting in lines and to guide you to locations that you may have missed previously.
Who should not buy this book?
Obviously, if you’re not into the Disney scene, this book is not for you. I also think that adults will enjoy this book more than kids, since the insider information is more about the subtleties than it is the flashy stuff. Parents could, however, point out things from the book to their kids without having to go into the full details.
Wrapup
With the holiday season getting ever closer, the Disney parks will get busier and busier, which means longer lines. As I’ve said many times, a lightweight book like this is the perfect thing to have on hand to keep the day moving along. Buy a copy for the family and assign everyone a park. Make them the experts that will guide you around to all of the “101 Things You Never Knew About Walt Disney World.”
