Below are some pictures I took today out at the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Orlando. Featuring marching bands from local high schools, military groups of all types, Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer, and so much more, it was a wonderful way to honor all military personnel.
The highlight for me was the Winter Springs High School tribute to the veterans of each of the major wars and American historical moments. With students dressed in full uniform, each float portrayed a scene from the past. From soldiers of the Revolutionary war to the firefighters who battled the blazes on September 11, it was one of the more memorable parade moments I’ve ever witnessed.
