Today is the opening day of the AST Dew Tour’s Playstation Pro event being hosted in the Amway arena. Admission is free if you’ve purchased a ticket for any of the Friday, Saturday or Sunday sessions. This is because today’s events are practices and preliminaries only. The first final comes tomorrow evening at 8PM with the BMX Vert.

If you’re heading out to the events this weekend, the major items on your schedule should include the outdoor festival, which is open from 2pm-close on Friday and 1pm-close on Saturday and Sunday. More importantly, the finals for each event are as follows:

• BMX Vert @ 8pm on Friday
• BMX Dirt @ 2pm on Saturday
• Skate Park @ 5:30pm on Saturday
• Freestyle Motocross (FMX) @ 7:30pm on Saturday
• Skate Vert @ 2:45pm on Sunday
• BMX Park @ 4:45pm on Sunday
• Dew Cup Awards @ 6pm on Sunday

There’s also a concert featuring Ja Rule with special guest Q-Tip at 8pm on Friday evening. Admission to this concert is included in a regular Friday or weekend pass.

As far as the setup at the Amway arena, only the Vert events and BMX Park event will be held indoors. The other events have been setup in the parking lot (looks nothing like a parking lot now, though). If you’re driving into downtown, you’ll need to park in one of the garages around the arena.
