What do Dr. Seuss and the Holocaust have in common?

That may be exactly what goes through the minds of visitors at The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Central Florida this month.

The “Dr. Seuss Wants You!” exhibit, on display now through Nov. 30, showcases the works of American cartoonist Theodore “Dr. Seuss” Geisel. Before achieving book fame with “Green Eggs and Ham” and “The Cat in the Hat,” Seuss drew more than 400 political cartoons for some of the country’s largest newspapers opposing Nazism and Fascism, throwing support to President Roosevelt, and encouraging readers to support entry into World War II.
