New Exhibits at Food and Wine Festival

This year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will feature two new offerings.

A special Peru exhibit, honoring the food and culture of this country, will be set up in World Showcase. In addition to a marketplace that features food and crafts, visitors also can watch lively performances by Peruvian dancers.

Another new addition will be Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, which focuses on the food and wine served in Turkey. The special exhibit will feature complimentary culinary demonstrations, daily presentations by Turkish artisans and a marketplace showcasing traditional tastes such as roasted eggplant and yogurt dip served with pita bread.

In all, there will be thirteen special exhibits at this year’s festival, including an Australian “walkabout” wine and beer tasting, a Caribbean kitchen featuring the gastronomy, crafts and music from the Dominican Republic, and the American Wine Adventure which features wines from Napa valley and the New York wine regions, just to name a few.
