I received the following in an e-mail today:

Warner Home Video will be releasing SELENA: 10TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION DVD on September 18, 2007. The 2 disc special edition stars Jennifer Lopez in the title role of the 1997 biopic about the life and career of Tejano Superstart Selena Quintanilla Perez.

To promote this very special DVD release, Warner Home Video and Universal CityWalk will host a Special Screening of the film SELENA on Sunday, September 9th on the giant Astrovision screen located on CityWalk in Universal City. The screening is FREE and open to the public and will start at 7pm. Telemundo will have entertainment, give-aways, and many other surprises.

This area of CityWalk is extremely busy, so I wouldn’t expect there to be much of an opportunity to sit down and watch the entire movie. The screening is on a Sunday night, however, so maybe there won’t be as big of a crowd passing through the viewing area.
