While I’ve never seen “High School Musical” on Disney Channel, I sure have heard about it.

People at work joke about it and poke fun at themselves for being adults and liking it. I know people who can quote the film, sing along to the lyrics and even admitting to throwing a party for the airing of “High School Musical 2″ last Friday.

In honor of the release of the sequel, Disney-MGM Studios has changed its traveling “High School Musical Pep Rally” show to become “Disney’s High School Musical 2: School’s Out” show.

I’ve only caught the original show by accident while walking through the park once or twice. They perform directly in front of the huge sorcerer’s hat in the center of the park, so their loud cheering, music and stunts attract a lot of attention from theme park guests.

I admit, the songs are catchy. Maybe I’ll have to go out one of these days and catch some Wildcat fever myself.
