Summer’s Almost Out at SeaWorld

Labor Day not only signals the end of summer, it also brings to a close several SeaWorld shows and attractions. So, if you’d like to see these things before they’re gone (at least for the year), be sure to visit the park prior to September 4.

  • Elmo and the Bookaneers - A must for any preschooler, this musical stage show features many favorite “Sesame Street” characters on a quest for pirate booty. It also features some fun for parents - a tongue-and-cheek song that encourages audience members to think up four letter words that start with “F” comes to mind. Labor Day also brings an end to the popular Elmo & Friends Breakfast Buffet, which allows families to dine with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert and others.

  • Shamu Rocks - SeaWorld’s nighttime Shamu show features loud rock ‘n’ roll music intertwined with splashy acrobatics performed by the park’s iconic killer whales. Flashier than the daytime show, with more action and less talking, this show is pure fun and excitement.

  • Sea Lions Tonight! - Sea lions, otters, a walrus and a surprisingly hilarious mime parody other favorite SeaWorld shows during this nighttime comedy performance. This show is legitimately funny stuff, provided you’re familiar with the other shows at the park.

  • Mistify - Water fountains, a laser show and fireworks cap off the evening.
